We are following many methods to get back links for our website. It helps our website to get top rank in SERP for competitive keywords. We can classify the methods into three types (one-way, two-way, and three-way).
Search engines have reduced the weightage of the links from two-way (reciprocal) and three-way. With my recent experiment, I can say that it still works with the criteria of relevancy. (Many link building experts are waiting in Gtalk and Yahoo! Messenger for immediate Link exchange).
