Suffering from supplemental index?
Your pages may get index soon in Google, but may not get into the SERP for even very low competition keyword!
The reason must be your pages should present in supplemental index. What is supplemental index?
Google is maintaining two servers, main index and supplemental index. Main index is for storing the pages which Google consider as most important pages. Supplemental index consists of pages which are similar to the pages in main index (Duplication content) and some useless pages.
What should be in your mind while creating new pages to get them into main index?
1) Don’t create similar pages (theme) that are already present in your website.
2) Content copying from other website will directly lead them to supplemental.
3) Less In-bound links for a page with in same domain (i.e., less internal links)
4) Same Meta details for many pages. (It should be unique for each and every page)
Apart from this, if we can get more number of external links for a page in supplemental index then might be a chance to replace that into main index.
Note: Some may think that Google has removed supplemental index and its no longer exists now. Here is the news from official Google Blog .
