This is my first post about paid inclusion (PPC). Let’s have a small intro about the search and content network.
Search Network
Google Search:
When you search terms in Google, Ads will display in right side (sponsored listing section). Displaying ads in search engines are called Search Network.
Search Partners:
With this choice, your ads can appear alongside searches that match your keywords in Google network sites.
Content Network
Placements you’ve targeted:
If you want to have your ad in any specific website, you can give the website name with bid for it.
Other placements on the content network:
Your ads will appear on sites containing content relevant to your ad.
Few important points about search and content network:
1) You can assign the same ad group for both search and content network.
2) You can turn on/turn off any network/campaign at anytime.
Google AdWords Editor:
This is the wonderful desktop tool downloadable from Google which allows you to Work offline on your campaigns, and then upload your changes any time.
Latest feature added in Google AdWords
Now you can get to understand better about the ad performance in your campaigns. That is, you can split up the data’s separately for search and content network. So, you can have a detailed idea on your ad performance in each of your campaigns.
Look into the below screenshot. Also I marked in black circle on where to split the data for campaigns.
