Why not wordpress in windows server?

I too agree that Linux is the recommended server for hosting wordpress files. Below are the cases we need not to rely only on Linux hosting.

• Already having space in windows account where his other sites are running.
• I like windows platform
• I like to have experience of hosting wordpress in windows.

I am sure that we can run wordpress in windows server with all the features as we have in Linux.

I have listed the features require some extra work to implement if we run wordpress in windows server.

1. Permalinks setup.
2. Google XML sitemap Generator
3. Canonical redirection
4. Page Navigation
5. WP Contact form integration

Some guys are telling that wordpress hosted in windows account wont be SEO friendly because of can’t enabling some features. I bet that surely you can enable all the features as I did. This blog has been hosted in windows server and its SEO friendly!
