This is a most important plugin for wordpress blog. This enables many features which makes the blog SE friendly. Following are the options in All in One SEO pack.
1) Page & Post Title Format
2) Includes Title & Meta tag for all post pages
3) Content Duplication (Includes Robot Meta tag in all pages)
Page & Post Title Format
With out this plugin, the standard format will be Blog Title >> post/page title. With this plugin we can change it to post/page title >> Blog Title. Also we can control title tag format for all pages in the blog including Archives, Tags, Categories, Posts, Pages.
Includes Title & Meta tag for all post pages
This is a wonderful option to make the blog SE friendly. We all know that, how important the title & Meta tags are important for SE’s. In default, there is no option to include title & Meta tag for individual posts. This plugin enables this feature and helps us to include title & Meta tag for all posts.
Content Duplication Issue
This plugin is doing a good job to escape from content duplication issue. This option includes Meta robots tag (index nofollow, follow noindex etc) in all pages of the blog. In this option I need more feature which is not present in All in One SEO pack plugin.
As a SEO guy, I just need the following Meta robot tags,
- Posts – Index, Follow (optional)
- Pages – Index, Follow (Optional)
- Archives – Follow, Noindex
- Tags – Follow, Noindex
- Categories – Follow, Noindex
- *Pagination (Page1, Page2 etc) – Follow, Noindex
There is no option to add robot Meta tag for pagination pages in All in one SEO pack. I just don’t want search engines to index my pagination pages since it may cause duplication issue. So I decided not to use the third feature (Using Meta Robots in All in One SEO Pack).
To fix this issue, I am using a separate plugin named “Meta Robots plugin“. This enables option to include any type of Meta robot tag in all pages of the blog.
So if you have a single plugin which enables all the above said features, please let me know.
Definitely a must have plugin for WP, there must be millions of blogs using All in one SEO pack! I wouldn’t run a blog without this plugin. There are other versions produced by other developers, but have never installed as AIOSP does everything I need
