Kudos to Google for introducing the Google SMS channel. This is really great news for bloggers. It’s a powerful and wonderful way to increase subscribers to our blog.

Now lets see the steps to implement,

1) Click Here and sign in with your Google account

2) Subscribe to my blog with your mobile number

3) Click on “Create your own channels” Link

4) Submit your blog feed URL

5) Just save and get link code for your new channel

Example: http://labs.google.co.in/smschannels/subscribe/SEObyElan

6) Go ahead by implementing the code in your website.

The Indian subscribers will get your post title in their mobile inbox once you posted a new topic in your blog. This service is now only for Indian mobile numbers. Let’s hope Google folks will launch fast this for international numbers.
